1968 / THE FOUNDATION

AIRPLAN was founded in Barcelona as a Joint Venture between the German company Lufttechnische GmbH (LTG) and a private Spanish investment group led by Dr. Eng. Andreu Ferrer.

TEXTILE ERA

In the beginning, AIRPLAN specialized in air treatment solutions for production plants in the textile industry. In the 80s, the company began providing HVAC solutions to the European pharmaceutical sector that was engaged in the restructuring of cGMPs.

CLEANROOMS ERA

We gradually added skills to our portfolio to develop integral cleanroom projects for the pharmaceutical industry, which enabled us to expand rapidly through Latin America and North Africa. In 2000, the equipment development and process lines division was created.

PROCESS ERA

We have evolved as a turnkey provider for the Life-Science sector. We specialize in cleanrooms and the implementation of process lines. Our added value lies in our quality and, fundamentally, in our ability to adapt to each industry, country and client. Today, we operate on 4 continents, uniting a global vision with local action that enables us to guarantee completion dates and competitive prices.
