THE AIR BOOTH protects raw materials during sampling and dispensing operations and prevents cross-contamination. It protects personnel from toxic particles while carrying out the process and can also be expanded with accessories to meet your requirements or be custom-designed for you.
- Control. Control interface displayed by touchscreen. Automatic air flow control. Monitoring and independent activation of clogging alarms for each filtration stage.
- Filtration stages. Pre-filtration to capture coarse particles, filtration for fine particle retention, final filtration for air sterilization (HEPA).
- High-efficiency fan. High-performance centrifugal fan with optimized impeller and EC motor, complying with ErP Directive (Ecodesign 2009/125/CE). Integrated control electronics for very low power consumption, noise reduction, optimized airflow and programmable control.
- Universal power supply. Adaptable to any power supply voltage.
- Lighting. With integrated LED lighting around the working area perimeter.
- Documentation and qualification. All AIR BOOTHs are shipped after having undergone specific quality controls detailed in our FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) protocols, in compliance with the specifications defined by the international standard ISO 14644. They are delivered with a result report and Documentation Dossier (users and maintenance manuals, spare parts list), CE certificate, individual filter certificates and electric diagrams.
Base model of our downflow booth that creates a sterile unidirectional airflow for product and personnel protection
This downflow booth model is integrated in a dedicated weighing room or in a weighing area with several booths in parallel, just before the production area. The room is usually classified as Grade D or C.
The working area of the booth is low-pressured, to prevent raw materials from leaving the working area and contaminating the cleanroom. It enables weighing tasks to be carried out under sterile unidirectional airflow, thus avoiding contamination of the raw material while protecting the operator in case of critical products.
Booth for sampling operations in CNC environments under sterile unidirectional airflow
This type of booth is usually found in an non-controlled area, such as a raw material warehouse, to carry out sampling tasks.
The booth does not require a cleanroom environment and is positive pressured to prevent air and with it particles and dirt from the outside entering the working area. Sampling tasks can be carried out under sterile unidirectional airflow, thus avoiding contamination of the raw material or the final product.
Downflow Booth for production areas with containment requirements
In the case of working with dangerous raw materials, the weighing booths are mostly integrated within the production area, in order to reduce working distances and cross contamination. This booth comes with an integrated filtration in the air return, which consists of a prefilter and a HEPA filter, or even may include a Bag-in / Bag-out system.
Downflow booth for weighing operations in explosion risk environments
Apart from having the same function as the downflow booth for weighing, this booth is a special construction for potentially explosive environments in compliance with ATEX / NFPA69 regulations for gas vapors or volatile products.
For risks associated with dust, we offer a solution with filters certified for ATEX areas that prevent dust from coming into contact with the fans.
This equipment allows the declassification as an ATEX dust downflow booth while maintaining the classification as an ATEX gas vapor downflow booth.

All equipment has been specifically designed to be installed in classified environments, according to FDA (Title 21 Part 11), EU GMP (Annex 1) / cGMP ISO 14644, ASHRAE, etc. regulations.
